Welcome to Campus Meet, a college socializing platform designed exclusively for verified students of participating institutions. By creating an account, accessing, or using Campus Meet (including its mobile app, website, and all related services), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the platform.
If you do not agree, do not register or use Campus Meet.
For clarity, in these Terms:
You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
You must be a currently enrolled student or an eligible member of a participating institution.
You must provide accurate information during sign-up (college ID, name, email, etc.).
Accounts created with false or misleading information are strictly prohibited and may be terminated.
Campus Meet is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by any educational institution. Participation is voluntary and based on individual verification.

Campus Meet includes:
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features without notice.
Campus Meet follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
Name, email, phone number, college ID, and verification data.
Content you post (photos, text, confessions, compliments).
Basic device and app usage logs (IP address, session activity).
To operate and improve the platform.
To show profiles, confessions, compliments, and dating matches only within Campus Meet.
To maintain student verification and community safety.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any external entity.
Data is stored securely, with strict access controls.
Data is retained as long as your account is active.
You can request account deletion anytime, and your personal data will be erased except where legally required to retain records.
We implement strong security measures (encryption, access restrictions, breach monitoring). However, no system is 100% secure, and you use the platform at your own risk.
We obtain your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent for processing your personal data. Consent must be obtained before any data processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time through your account settings or by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual obligations.
We adhere to the core principles of the DPDPA, including:
Personal data is primarily processed and stored within India. Any cross-border transfers will comply with DPDPA requirements, including government notifications on permitted countries or entities, to ensure adequate protection.
Since eligibility requires users to be at least 18 years old, we do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children. If we discover any such data, the account will be terminated, and the data erased in compliance with DPDPA provisions for verifiable parental consent where applicable.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee compliance with DPDPA. For any data-related queries, rights exercises, or grievances, contact the DPO at cool@campusmeet.in. We will respond to grievances within the timelines prescribed under the Act.
You own your content.
By posting content, you grant Campus Meet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use it only within the platform.
Campus Meet’s rights. All branding, design, code, features, and intellectual property of Campus Meet remain our exclusive property.
Reporting and Removal. We may remove content that violates law, these Terms, or community safety standards.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:

Campus Meet may contain links to third-party services (payment gateways, verification APIs). We are not responsible for their privacy policies, terms, or practices.
Campus Meet is a social platform. We do not verify every user-generated content item and are not responsible for any offensive, inaccurate, or harmful content posted by others.
We do not guarantee matches, friendships, or outcomes from use of our dating or confessions portal.
Use the platform responsibly and at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campus Meet, its founders, employees, and affiliates against claims, damages, or losses arising from:

Campus Meet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of data, emotional distress, lost profits).
Total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for premium services in the past 6 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
